Hi, I'm Nicholas, an upstate boy who moved to New York to work in film. I've been making movies since I was a kid, running off with my dad's VHS camera and editing tape to tape. Although the filmmaking tools of today are different, my passion has not changed.
Since completing my MFA in Media Arts Production from The City College of New York in 2011, I've been working as a freelance Sound Recordist and as a Final Cut Pro Editor on a variety of features, documentaries, commercials, promos, web series, and shorts. I've also begun working with a great group of people at Mad Hatter Media Group.
Several films I've been a part of have won festival awards.
Recently, I've had the pleasure of working with TDF Stages in creating a film series called MEET THE THEATRE, as well as working with Allied House as their sound guy for the travel series, CUSTOM NATION.
I love working with a crew of people who genuinely enjoy what they do, and I'm interested in working on a whole range of different projects. So if you're looking for a Production Sound Recordist, Boom Op, or a FCP Editor, give me a call. Thanks!
